MS MEETS THE SWEDISH PRINCE!
作為國際都市，香港設計週在全球各地都扮演著重要位置之一。
是次在香港舉辦的DesignInspire，瑞典作為其中一重點參與國，
香港政府機關及部門，亦早已為瑞典王子的隆重到來，
作了不同的行程安排。
MATCH SHOWROOM 非常榮幸，能參與及代表瑞典，
作為在香港區的指定協辦單位。
由聖誕預熱的瑞典領事官邸派對，DesignInspire開幕儀式，
再是瑞典爸爸攝影展，整個行程編排及操辦，
接待瑞典王子及與其共乘地下鐵的經歷！
都令我們團隊深深感受到瑞典人那份專注和純正，
平易近人和熱愛家庭的真性情！
On December 7th, his Royal Highness,
Prince Carl Philip of Sweden has came to attend the Ung Svensk Form
at DesignInspire and the Swedish Dad's photo exhibition at Elements in Hong Kong.
Hosted in cooperation with the Hong Kong government,
the purpose of this visit is to deepen the relations between Hong Kong and Sweden,
as well as to shine light on young and innovative Swedish design.
12月7日，瑞典王子殿下 Carl Philip 親臨香港設計盛事DesignInspire
和期間在Elements 圓方商場舉辦的一個攝影展會。
其中分別有 the Ung Svensk Form 和 瑞典爸爸攝影展 代表瑞典參與展覽。
舉辦聯誼旨在加深兩地了解，并支持年輕有活力、創新的瑞典設計。

THE UNG SVENSK FORM
瑞典設計
"The Ung Svensk Form has the power and energy
that inspires and that wants to create change."
The Ung Svensk form is a travelling exhibition.
Its purpose is to broaden and deepen knowledge about young and innovative design,
by showing the latest trends in young Swedish design.
"The Ung Svensk Form 拥有一股視覺衝擊力，
總能給你出其不意的設計創新。"
The Ung Svensk form 作為一個世界巡迴展覽，
給到瑞典年輕設計一個發光發亮舞台，
向世界展示瑞典的設計新趨勢，
另一方面，也拓寬了瑞典創新的新視野，不斷交流學習。
It is ultimately an interesting platform where people can view arts and craftsmanship
that is incorporated with design, research, technology, sustainability and human interaction.
Moreover, it is intended to fulfill an important function
as a forum for encounters between designers, manufacturers and the general public.
一個有趣的平台總給人層出不窮的趣味，
在這裡人們可以看到藝術和工藝結合得登峰造極。
考慮設計、研發、技術、可持續和人的結合等多方因素，
在設計師、製造商、公眾之間的交流，都起到舉足輕重的地位。
THE MTR EXPERIENCE
地鐵的邂逅
The learning and sharing of cultures plays a big part in this event.
Here, HRH Prince Carl Philip takes Hong Kong's most travelled public transport
- the MTR for the very first time.
The MTR marks Hong Kong's most signature platform.
Almost 90% of Hong Kong's citizens utilizes the MTR on a daily basis.
而王子當天的行程編排十分緊密，但在不同區域的展會路途中，
王子選擇領略香港民生，乘搭 MTR 地鐵作為交通工具。
在香港接近90%的市民每天都會乘搭地鐵出行，
王子在地鐵中可以看到文化的差異，
大家也在互相交流學習，談笑風生。
像王子這樣切實了解民生的舉動，實在深得民心。
SWEDISH DADS | 瑞典爸爸
A photo exhibition about gender-aware modern men
一個關於現代男人的生活照片展覽
"Child rearing has traditionally been the preserve of women,
but a growing number of fathers in Sweden have begun to see the advantages
of taking parental leave and developing close ties with their children early on."
傳統觀念，養育孩子一直是女性的主要職責。
但來到這個展覽，
會發現瑞典的文化略微不同，
他們有越來越多的奶爸選擇申請育兒假，
去和孩子們建立一個親密童年。
To have this photo exhibition in Hong Kong,
it creates an awareness for the people in Hong Kong that mothers are not only the great heroes
in carrying and caring for their child -
the father's should play a role in the same way that mothers do,
and that they should be valued equally as much.
舉辦這個展覽的目的是為了給大家灌輸新的觀念，
父母親在養育孩子是起著同樣的重要性。
By having this Swedish dad's photo exhibition,
it not only uplifts father's role in parenting,
it also comes to break the traditional stereotype that mothers
stay home to take care of their child while the dad works outside.
通過這次 瑞典爸爸 的攝影展，
不僅能夠提升父親的教育能力，
還可以改變男主外女主內的傳統觀念。
Through this meeting opportunity to close ties between Hong Kong and Sweden,
we share our differences we have between
two very culturally different countries with positive light.
透過這次與王子的會面，
我們能夠更加深入切實了解到香港和瑞典之間的緊密聯繫，
兩地文化融匯互通，取其精華，棄其糟粕。
"In order to ermerge the exhibition into the local context,
a photo contest "Hand in Hand with Dad" was conducted.
20 winning photographs of Hong Kong's father-and-child moment are also displayed
along with the Swedish Dad's exhibition.
為了讓大家融入 瑞典爸爸 的場景，
現場還有增添一個 “與父親手牽手 ” 的攝影比賽互動環節。
在現場會征集20張父親與孩子的親密作品，在展覽會上進行展示。
MS THOUGHTS:
We are incredibly delighted to be a part of this very important and valuable experience.
By deepening the ties between Sweden and Hong Kong,
it not only gives us an exposure to cultures and values in the West,
but it gives us a thorough reflection on the growth of young innovators and design,
and the significance it has with supporting of new technology and sustainability.
