SHOKAY 堅持在喜馬拉雅高原地區梳理出優質的犛牛絨原料，
其光澤和彈性不是一般天然纖維可媲美的。
Founded by Harvard Kennedy School Graduate - Carol Chyau in 2006,
she sought to bring the world’s first socially responsible textiles brand
and developed soft knitwear products from yak down.
Every step of the manufacturing process is based in China,
from the direct sourcing of yak down from Tibetan herders in western China’s Himalayan Qinghai region, to the knitting process completed by a women’s cooperative in Shanghai.
The manufacturing process has led to many encouragements for women.
By creating more open job opportunities,
it allows for them to gain a sense of responsibility and importance in society
which has been one of the many impacts Shokay has shown to do.
Shokay has created a sustainable economic growth on the Tibetan plateau,
and continuously provided support for local community development programs
in the area capacity building, education, and health.
By demonstrating a sustainable business model,
Shokay is a brand with a great social impact.
於2006年，
SHOKAY 由哈佛高材生 Carol Chyau 創立面世，
是世界第一個開發了犛牛絨且極具社會責任的紡織時尚品牌。
製作的過程，可以很驕傲的告訴大家，每一步都是 Made In China。
由喜馬拉雅青海區的牧民手中直接收購犛牛絨，
SHOKAY 團隊首先進行主要的R＆D 研發及工序梳理，
再通過中國各地擁有優質技術的供應商形成的產業鏈進行紗線生產及成品加工，
其中值得一提的是SHOKAY 在上海崇明島的一個婦女合作社，
合作社建立的初衷是為鼓勵支持當地婦女有自己的事業，
她們通過自己的雙手勞動，編織出一件件愛心紡織品。
不僅如此，
SHOKAY 還和西藏高原片區保持友好的合作關係，
沒有市場壟斷，堅持走可持續增長路線。
不斷支持當地發展建設、教育及醫療的長久項目。
通過如此循環商業模式，SHOKAY 品牌影響力也日益擴大，
得到了許多社會有心有力人士的支持。
