About the Brand

 

Futur Kimono means future kimono. It introduces an avant-garde concept that allows you to wear kimono in 3 minutes.

Kimino will no longer be forgotten in modern daily life, as it can be convenient, comfortable and stylish. Futur Kimono offers many different colors, fabric, and length that gives you choices to freely express yourself and truly enjoy the everyday life.

Futur Kimono uses the luxury silk polyester textile to give the fabric a true silk-like feel, at the same time making it washable at home.

Both sides of the fabric are dyed with a double-sided printing machine.

 

About the Founder

 

After 20 years working services in marketing, sales, and administrative of global manufacturers, Kumiko Sugaya founded

Yokohama Miraido (横滨未来堂) based in Yokohama City in April 2017 and started to create the brand “Futur Kimono”.

She has been proactively promoting to add kimono into the list of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and introduce Japanese culture to both overseas and domestic cultural workshops. The textiles used by Futur Kimono are designed by the top three winners in the

“First Kimono Design Competition” in 2016, held by Educational Foundation Bunka Gakuen University.

Futur Kimono，翻譯過來即是future kimono ─ 「未來的和服」。

要成為未來人賞識的「和服」，除了質料上乘、設計美觀之外，必要條件就是讓甜心們能在3分鐘內穿起來！

這種創新前衛的「穿衣之道」，加上設計上予人生活方便、舒適合身的感覺，以及在時尚感表露無遺之下，

令Futur Kimono 在都市人心目中不能遺忘！

 

Futur Kimono採用上好混絲素材，布質有如真絲柔滑，底面兩面均印染圖案，顏色繽紛、尺碼不一，以供鍾愛於日式和服的甜心選擇；

而另一受人青睞的優點是，Futur Kimono可置於機洗，清洗方便，要是天天穿著也變得並非難事，女生可天天享受沈浸於傳統日系服飾的樂趣！

 

 

關於創辦人

 

Kumiko Sugaya小姐於2017年4月，在日本神奈川縣橫濱市成立橫濱未來堂 (Yokohama Miraido)，正式向工作了20年的東家告別，

將從工作累積而來的國際貿易、市場推廣及行政經驗，悉數運用於自己親自建立的品牌Futur Kimono身上。

 

Futur Kimono 的原材布料，乃經由2016年日本東京澀谷區文化學園大學教育基金會舉辦的「首屆和服設計比賽」中前三名勝出者所設計。

Kumiko Sugaya小姐一直秉持心願，積極透過不同的文化工作坊，向世界各地，以及日本本土推廣日本文化，

並致力將和服推廣成為聯合國教科文組織人類非物質文化遺產。
